Going into my new job, I knew I was going to have to be in front of the camera. Although I used to take my own photos with my tripod and self-timer, it is way easier to pose and smile while no one is around. Now all my photos get taken at work, and at first it was a little weird to pretend to laugh while people are looking at you.. it feels extremely silly. After a while, you become comfortable and know what works for you and what doesn't. That's the most important thing you can figure out, what works for you and what doesn't. As a 4'11 human-being, I'm limited to a lot of things, since I have barely any legs, but I know what I can wear that will make my height look decent and what will cut me off even more than I already am. Becoming comfortable in our own skin, makes you feel a million times better than trying to fit into a mould society tries to make us fit into. We won't fit, it wasn't made for us. I struggle with my self-image, I won't lie and say I love my body, because everyday I wish I was thinner, and it is consistently in my mind. But everyday I work on loving who I am and am always working to figure out how I want to be and what makes me feel good about myself. Figure out who you are and stay true to yourself, it'll inspire people to be themselves as well.
